Get ready for a thrilling desert adventure that combines natural beauty in White Canyon Trip, hiking, and authentic Bedouin culture.
This full-day experience takes you deep into the heart of South Sinai’s most stunning landscapes, where towering canyons, lush oases, and surreal rock formations await.
If you’re looking for an unforgettable journey from Dahab.
First, we begin our day by heading out from Dahab in a 4×4 vehicle, driving across the rugged desert terrain that sets the tone for a day of exploration.
Our first destination is the breathtaking White Canyon, one of Sinai’s most iconic natural wonders.
Then, the 4×4 drops us off at the top of White Canyon, where the hike begins.
As we descend into this narrow sandstone gorge, you’ll be surrounded by towering white rock walls that seem to glow under the desert sun.
As you descend, the trail winds through the canyon for about an hour, offering a peaceful and surreal hiking experience.
After that, you’ll arrive at the hidden gem of Ain Hodra Oasis—a lush, green haven with palm trees and natural spring water in the middle of the arid landscape.
Here, we relax for about an hour and a half.
Enjoy a traditional Bedouin lunch and herbal tea.
Moreover, this is the perfect place to recharge under palm trees and relax for about an hour and a half.
Next, back in the 4×4, we continue our journey through the desert.
On the way to our next canyon, we’ll make a quick stop at the famous Mushroom Rock, a quirky and photo-worthy sandstone formation shaped—just like it sounds—like a giant mushroom!
It’s a great stop for photos and to see nature’s artistic side.
This formation is noted in geological surveys of South Sinai’s protected areas.
Finally, we arrive at Canyon Salama. Although lesser-known, it offers colourful rock layers and peaceful trails.
As a result, it’s the perfect place to end your day of desert discovery.
